Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Country Manager to develop and implement business strategies to increase the company’s market share and profitability in the country;
• Oversee all aspects of the business operations within the country;
• Establish and maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders, and clients;
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity;
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations;
• Manage the financial performance and deliver on sales targets;
• Coordinate with Headquarters on business strategy and objectives;
• Recruit, train and manage team members to ensure efficiency and productivity;
• Manage crisis and resolve any escalating issues that may arise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or relevant field
• Proven experience in similar role
• Prefer candidates from insurance industry or reputable fast-pace tech startup company
• Strong knowledge of the country’s market conditions and business practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Proficiency in English and the local language of the designated country
• Ability to adapt to a multicultural environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage crisis
