We are looking for a creative Video Editor who can translate our marketing concepts into engaging Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube. This role requires someone who understands storytelling, platform trends, and can guide our marketing team and on-screen talent to produce high-quality content consistently.
What You’ll Do
- Transform marketing ideas into clear, engaging short-form videos that communicate our insurance products in a simple, compelling way.
- Edit vertical videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) using modern editing techniques — strong hooks, dynamic pacing, seamless transitions, trending audio, and effective storytelling.
- Provide creative direction during shoots: guide marketing team and talent on angles, shots, scripts, and delivery to ensure strong raw footage.
- Propose hooks, content concepts, scripts, and ideas for recurring content series tailored for insurance audiences.
- Review and organize raw footage, trim clips, build storylines, and assemble polished edits with captions, motion graphics, sound effects, and visual elements.
- Ensure all captions, overlays, and messaging are clear, grammatically accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Create simple graphics or static assets (thumbnails, carousels, social visuals) when needed.
- Maintain consistent brand look and feel across all videos.
- Analyze video performance (retention, watch time, engagement) and recommend improvements for future content.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and creative teams to ensure messaging is accurate and easy to understand, especially for insurance-related topics.
- Stay updated with trends in short-form video, social media algorithms, and best practices.
- Provide feedback to improve filming quality and help build efficient editing workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience editing short-form content for social media (Reels/TikTok/Shorts) — portfolio required.
- Strong skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci, or equivalent tools.
- Ability to direct on-screen talent and guide marketing teams on creative execution.
- Strong visual storytelling and understanding of how to hook viewers within 3–5 seconds.
- Good understanding of digital marketing and how content influences audience behavior.
- Excellent English communication skills for captions, scripts, and creative direction.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Experience in fast-paced environments such as startups is a plus.
- Motion graphics skills or AI-assisted editing familiarity is a bonus.
Nice to Have
- Background in advertising, insurance, fintech, or complex product marketing.
- Experience creating explainer-style content that simplifies technical subjects.
