About the Role
We are seeking an IT Support Officer who will be responsible for providing first-line technical support, maintaining IT equipment, ensuring smooth onboarding/offboarding processes, and delivering exceptional service to all internal users. This role is ideal for someone who is highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide front-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve user problems across Windows and macOS environments.
Log and manage incidents through the IT ticketing system in accordance with SLA.
Prepare and configure IT assets for new employees (laptops, monitors, phones, email access, and system logins).
Support routine system maintenance and scheduled updates.
Deliver user training and guidance for IT applications and basic system operations.
Manage asset lifecycle including issuance, retrieval, documentation, and inspection.
Perform secure account deactivation and equipment collection during employee offboarding.
Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and endpoint security compliance.
Monitor office network performance to ensure stable connectivity and access readiness (ID cards, printers, door access, etc.).
Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
Experience in IT support, service desk, or technical troubleshooting role.
Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing platforms (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, etc.).
Strong understanding of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills with a user-focused support mindset.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Knowledge of endpoint security tools and device compliance.
Experience with access control systems and office network monitoring.
Previous exposure to onboarding/offboarding processes within corporate environments.
